Senior Technical Sales Engineer

Chengdu, China & Middle East & North America & South America


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support market development, customer demand identification, technical communication, and solution support around the product line’s core products and solutions.

2. Translate customer operating scenarios and pain points into effective value communication, solution alignment, and application introduction for core products.

3. Work closely with product, sales, application, and R&D teams to support pre-sales activities, solution discussions, technical clarification, project follow-up, and customer feedback closure.

4. Provide technical support for key accounts, key projects, and critical market opportunities to ensure products and solutions are matched to customer needs effectively.

5. Track technology trends, customer needs, and market dynamics, and continuously improve product capability and market communication effectiveness.

6. Strengthen the technical brand image and professional influence of the product line throughout customer engagement and market development.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Solid combination of technical understanding and market awareness, with the ability to translate effectively between technical language and customer language.

2. Strong solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs in specific scenarios, organize resources, and drive implementation.

3. Strong communication, customer coordination, and business execution awareness.

4. Strong interest in oilfield service technologies, industrial technology products, and scenario-based selling, with willingness to build long-term expertise in the field.

5. Experience in technical support, pre-sales, technical sales, application engineering, or related industries is preferred.
