Well XX is a shale gas horizontal well with the highest temperature (BHCT at 136degC)in southwest China. High temperature, large differential temperature (106degC), active gas shows, severe losses,narrow pressure window (2 Kpa/m), high cement slurry density (2.24SG) and cementing in OBM pose various challenges to the operations.
