Senior R&D Engineer - Intelligent Pressure Control Product

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. New Product Design & Development: responsible for the design and development of drilling and production machinery products; trial production and testing of new products.

2. Product Standardization, Serialization & Capacity Expansion: optimize existing product designs, manage design changes, and carry out product serialization; provide technical support during the production process, resolve technical problems, and ensure proper documentation and analysis; design and optimize special fixtures and tools required for product assembly and on-site application; collaborate closely with colleagues from Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional coordination; provide technical support after product delivery to customers.

3. API Product Certification: prepare and review API product design documentation packages; support API audits and inspections related to product design and development.

4. Other Tasks: complete other tasks assigned by management. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design, Metal Forming, or related disciplines.

2. More than 5 years of R&D experience in oilfield drilling equipment. 

3. Familiar with drilling and production machinery; experience in providing technical support at oilfield well sites is preferred. 

4. Familiar with one or more industry standards, such as API 16C, API 16A, and API 6A. 

5. Experienced in preparing API certification documentation and supporting API audits. 

6. Proficient in mainstream design software. 

7. Proven experience in independently developing new products, including the ability to design and develop key components and core functions. 

8. Strong capability to resolve design-related technical issues encountered during the production process. 

9. Good reading and writing skills in English.
