November 27, 2015, Vertechs held a services recap and celebration meeting with Shell in the Vertechs office, located in Diamond Plaza, Chengdu, China.
This meeting was held to discuss the challenges, solutions and review performance during fifteen cementing operations Vertechs conducted for Shell’s Sichuan Unconventional Gas Project. This celebration includes commemoration of the successfully accomplishment in executing the challenging 5” production casing cementing operation on Shell’s latest unconventional gas well. Vertechs invited a distinguished group involved in the project. This includes; the lead Shell cementing engineer and their field service team, Professor Cheng from SWPU – a famous cementing material expert/advisor, and Vertechs’ excellent partners to attend this meeting.
The meeting was highlighted by remarks from Vertechs’ General Manager Mr. Zhang Wei and Shell’s Team Leader, Mr. Hong Yuan Dong to review and summarize the successful cooperation between Shell and Vertechs. Then Vertechs’ Cementing Lead, Jane Fu presented a recap illustrating 16 Wells’ cementing operations. Finally, a commemorative, Honor plaque, given by Shell was presented to Vertechs during the awards ceremony.
During this meeting, the relationship and communication between Shell and Vertechs continues to develop. And Shell expressed gratitude for Vertechs’ level of professionalism and technical excellence in the provision of cementing solutions. This success is the foundation for further cooperation between Shell and Vertechs with all the technologies and innovations available in the Vertechs portfolio.
